Coming Events at the Grand Strand Miata Club

Our new Program Committee has been hard at work thinking of things for us to do as a club. To attend any of these events just contact the event organizer and let them know you will be there. Some of these events may require a few extra volunteers to help put them on so let the organizers know if you're willing to help.

As we get closer to each of these events more details will be added here and in emails to club members – another good reason to join the mailing list!

Date: February 26, 2012 Event: Daytona 500 Race Watching and Pot Luck Lunch/Supper Event Organizers: Matt & Andi Collins E-mail: miatafy@sccoast.net Phone: 843-359-1151	Matt and Andi enjoy car racing. They also enjoy parties. They are opening their house for a Pot Luck Lunch/Supper (depending how long the party goes). The race will be on a big screen TV and the pot luck will be whatever people bring. Please contact them by February 19th if you are planning to attend.
Date: March 10, 2012 Event: St. Patrick's Day Party Event Organizers: Mike & Carol Davies Email: occupant@usa.com	St. Patrick's Day is best celebrated in an Irish Pub. This year we have decided on Quigley's which is both Irish and a Brew Pub. We don't have a start time for dinner yet, but we know it will go as long as it takes. Quigley's is located in Pawley's Island. Details TBA
Date: March 22-25, 2012 Event: Miatas at Myrtle Beach VI Event Organizers: Triad Miata Club Web Site: Will be posted here when they finish it.	The Grand Strand Miata Club got its start at the end of MAMB IV in 2010. This is a fun event with about 100 Miatas from all over the country right here in Myrtle Beach. The base will be the Sea Mist Resort again.

Date: May , 2012 Event: Pelicans Baseball Game Event Organizers: Paul and Sandy Davis Email: paul_sandy.davis@yahoo.com	The Myrtle Beach Pelicans are a minor league baseball team associated with the Texas Rangers. They have produced a number of players that have gone on to the majors. Date & Time TBA
Date: June , 2012 Event: Blue Pearl Farm Event Organizers: Mike & Carol Davies Email: occupant@usa.com	Blue Pearl Farm is a funky place which offers a combination of produce, prepared food, art and music. Those who have been there enjoy it thoroughly. Usually held on the third Sunday of the month. Details TBA
