Miata October Drive

On October 17, 2010, the Grand Strand Miata Club gathered in North Myrtle Beach and set out for a wonderful drive through the country led by Don & Marg Mincher. The weather was perfect as you can see from the photos. We did a little driving down some practically deserted country roads, then made a stop at the Silver Coast Winery just over the border in North Carolina. Dana, the winemaker in charge, gave us a tour of the facilities and conducted the wine tasting. Our group was so special that they gave us a private room. Or they just wanted to keep us away from the decent folk. Either way it was informative and fun. Next we were back on the road, ending up at Filet's Restaurant overlooking the Marker 350 Marina in North Myrtle Beach.
